A look at four standout performers and two key numbers from Thursday's Class 2A state swimming meet at BYU.

Nick Killian

The Telos Academy junior set a Class 2A state record in the 100 breaststroke, touching the wall in 1 minute, 2.55 seconds. He also won the state title in the 50 freestyle.

Alexa Pierce

The senior was part of a dominant performance by Grand County, which won its second consecutive girls' team title. She raced to first in both the 200 IM and the 100 butterfly.

Johan Boer

The Summit Academy junior was edged by Maeser Prep's Tony Puertas in the 200 IM, but he came back to win the 100 backstroke in 2A record time — 56.42 seconds.

Drew Roper

The Millard sophomore defended her state crown in the 100 backstroke. She added a second in the 50 freestyle.

The number of points scored by Telos Academy junior Nick Killion, thanks to a pair of state titles. His point total was better than two teams — Gunnison Valley and American Leadership.

Total number of individual titles won by Grand County swimmers. On the girls' side, River Richards won the 200 freestyle, Alexa Pierce won the 100 butterfly and 200 individual medley and London Richards won the 100 breaststroke, while on the boys' side, Braxten Pierce won the 200 freestyle, and 500 freestyle.
