A look at where the biggest recruits in Utah preps are planning to play in college.

Jay Tufele

School • Bingham

Position • DT

Where is he headed • Uncommitted. Top five: BYU, Michigan, Ohio State, USC and Utah.

The skinny • Tufele is considered one of Utah's all-time prep prospects. He was awarded The Tribune Player of the Year as a junior, and he still was able to help Bingham capture the Class 5A title despite missing the majority of his senior year with a foot injury.

Chaz Ah You

School • Timpview

Position • DB

Where is he headed • Uncommitted. Top 12 are BYU, Cal, Iowa, Notre Dame, Oklahoma State, Oregon, Stanford, UCLA, Utah, Utah State, Vanderbilt and Washington.

The skinny • Ah You played the first three years of his high school career at Westlake and was named to the All-Tribune team as a junior. He transferred to Timpview for his senior year.

Ty Jones

School • Provo

Position • WR

Where is he headed • Washington commit

The skinny • Jones is a two-time All-Tribune honoree. Originally committed to Utah early in his high school career, but he reopened his recruitment and pledged to Washington. Jones is known for his height and speed combination.

Langi Tuifua

School • Bingham

Where is he headed • BYU commit

The skinny • Tuifua, who was named to the All-Tribune team this year, had a tumultuous recruitment. First he committed to Utah. Then he pledged to Oregon. And he finally landed at BYU. He always has been loyal to Cougars coach Kalani Sitake, which could explain the winding road to Provo.

Tayler Katoa

School • Layton

Position • LB

Where is he headed • USC

The skinny • Katoa already has signed his National Letter of Intent with Southern Cal. At 6 foot 2 and 225 pounds, Katoa is a rare prospect. He played quarterback at Layton but is projected to play linebacker at the next level.

Sione Lund

School • Brighton

Where is he headed • Stanford commit

The skinny • Lund has been a longtime Stanford commit and he hasn't wavered on his desire to play on "The Farm." He didn't generate as much publicity because of his closed recruitment and Brighton's struggles on the field, but his level of play never dropped.

Alden Tofa

School • West Jordan

Position • DE

Where is he headed • Uncommitted. Final four are BYU, Oregon, UCLA and Utah.

The skinny • Tofa helped build West Jordan into a contender in Region 3 and was an integral part of the Jaguars clinching two straight postseason appearances. At 6 foot 3 and 255 pounds, Tofa is projected to play defensive end at the next level.

Carson Terrell

School • Layton

Where is he headed • Utah State commit

The skinny • Terrell is one of the prized recruits in the Aggies' class this year. Considered the top-ranked tight end in the state, Terrell elected to head to Logan and passed up an offer from UCLA.

Jordan Lolohea

Where is he headed • Uncommitted. Final four are BYU, Oregon, Utah and Washington.

The skinny • Named to the All-Tribune team, Lolohea led the state in sacks. At 6 foot 2 and 240 pounds, Lolohea is extremely athletic off the edge.

Levani Damuni

School • Ridgeline

Position •LB

Where is he headed • Stanford commit

The skinny • Damuni originally started his career at Mountain Crest before transferring to Ridgeline. He added yet another connection from Utah to Stanford when he committed to the Cardinal in the inaugural Polynesian Bowl.
