Freshman MyKayla Skinner continued her stranglehold on the individual awards on Friday, winning the all-around, floor and vault titles and tying teammate Baely Rowe for the balance beam crown in Utah's 197.625 winning effort at the Huntsman Center.

Skinner's 39.775 in the all-around tied for the fifth-highest all-around score in the program's history.

What might be scary for Skinner's competitors is the freshman's admission she is getting more and more comfortable on Utah's floor, so one can expect more performances like Friday's.

"I can't express what it is like to be out there," she said. "It's amazing and it feels like home."

The 2016 Olympic alternate entered Friday's competition winning nine out of a possible 10 titles in the two previous meets.

She was also named the Pac-12 Freshman of the Week and Gymnast of the Week the last two weeks.

Skinner bettered her effort on Friday by scoring 9.975 on the vault, 9.9 on the uneven bars, 9.925 on the balance beam and 9.975 on the floor.

The only event she didn't win was the uneven bars where Rowe won with a 9.95.

While some in the crowd might have been disappointed Skinner didn't get a 10.0 on the floor, she and her coaches weren't complaining.

"I'm just trying to go out there and hit for the team," she said.

"She was dialed in and looked great out there," coach Tom Farden said. "She is getting more comfortable in her surroundings. She is hitting her stride now."

Other Utah gymnasts who have earned 39.775 are Annabeth Eberle (2004), Ashley Postell (2005) and Georgia Dabritz (2015).

The school record is owned by Suzanne Metz, who scored a 39.95 in the 1995 season.
