Utah freshman gymnast MyKayla Skinner has a stranglehold on the Pac-12 awards, earning the conference Gymnast of the Week and Pac-12 Freshman of the Week honors for the second week in a row.

The recognition comes after Skinner won every event in the Utes' win at BYU on Friday. She has won nine out of a possible 10 individual titles.

Only two previous Utah gymnasts won Pac-12 Gymnast of the Week recognition in two straight weeks. Tory Wilson did it in 2014 and Georgia Dabritz in 2015.

Skinner's all-around score of 39.6 and floor of 9.95 are the third-best scores this season.

Skinner and her teammates are back in action Friday at the Hunstman Center when Denver, Boise State and Illinois-Chicago pay a visit.
