Utah freshman gymnast MyKayla Skinner, who won the all-around and three individual titles Saturday in the season opener against Michigan, was named the Pac-12 Gymnast of the Week and Pac-12 Freshman of the Week.
It marked the first time since Utah joined the conference six years ago that a Utah freshman has won Pac-12 Gymnast of the Week honors and she joins teammate Sabrina Schwab as the second Ute to be honored as the Pac-12 Freshman of the Week in her collegiate debut.
