Orem, Utah • Conner Toolson scored a career-high 29 points and Utah Valley held on to beat Texas-San Antonio 75-71 on Saturday.

Toolson was 12 of 18 from the field and made three 3-pointers. Kenneth Ogbe had 12 points and Hayden Schenck added 10 for Utah Valley (5-2). Brandon Randolph had eight assists and Isaac Neilson grabbed 11 rebounds.

Nick Billingsley scored 21 points on 8-of-17 shooting to lead UTSA (2-6). Nick Allen added 17 points.

The game was tied 58-58 with 4:44 to play. Ogbe made a 3-pointer, sparking an 11-4 spurt to give the Wolverines a 69-62 lead with about two minutes left. Schenck made a layup and a pair of free throws during the stretch.

Billingsley made a 3-pointer to pull the Roadrunners to 71-68 with 28 seconds left but they didn't get closer.

Denver 57, Weber State 55 • In Ogden, C.J. Bobbitt scored 17 points while hauling in 12 rebounds, and Joe Rosga hit the go-ahead bucket with 12 seconds remaining to lift Denver past Weber State.

In a back-and-forth second half, Denver (3-4) tied the game at 55-all on Bobbitt's jumper with 2:12 left, then both teams went cold over the next two minutes before Rosga made the winning basket. Weber State's Jeremy Senglin missed a 3-pointer at the other end with eight seconds left and Denver got the rebound to seal the win.

Bobbitt shot 8 for 10 from the field and his double-double was a career first. Daniel Amigo contributed 12 points, Jake Pemberton added 10 and Rosga finished with eight for the Pioneers.

Weber State got 15 points from Senglin. Kyndahl Hill added 14 points and 12 rebounds.

Oakland 78, Southern Utah 68 • In Rochester, Mich., Martez Walker scored 19 points and had nine boards and Jalen Hayes added 15 points and nine rebounds to send Oakland past Southern Utah.

Isaiah Brock's dunk with 10:22 remaining gave Oakland (8-1) a 61-37 lead that was never threatened. James McGee's free throw with 22 seconds remaining marked the only time Southern Utah (2-6) faced a single-digit deficit (77-68) after halftime.

Walker made back-to-back 3s giving the Grizzlies a 10-7 lead they'd never surrender. Ivan Madunic's 3 brought the Thunderbirds to within 28-24 with 3:33 before halftime before Oakland went on a 10-0 spurt to close the half.

Nick Daniels hit a 3, Hayes hit a pair of jumpers and Sherron Dorsey-Walker's 3 with five seconds on the clock capped the run.

Randy Onwuasor had 21 points and eight rebounds for Southern Utah.

SLCC 86, Treasure Valley 73 • In Taylorsville, the Bruins remained undefeated with a victory over Treasure Valley, improving to 11-0.

Westminster 89, Colorado Mesa 68 • Six Griffins scored in double-digits to boost Westminster over Colorado Mesa at home.

Casey Evans scored 18 points to lead Westminster (2-2, 2-0 Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference), followed by Dayon Goodman with 15, Marcus Bryce and Mason Smith with 13 each, and Jarred Laws and Zerrion Payton with 11 each.

The Griffins opened the game with a 7-0 run and never relinquished the lead.

Women's Basketball

Weber State 76, Portland 37 • In Ogden, Emily Drake scored 24 points on 50 percent shooting to lead the Wildcats against the Pilots (2-6). The Wildcats (6-1) combined for 13 3-pointers, including six from Drake.

Weber State had a 25-13 lead going into the second period, then outscored Portland 20-6 before halftime.

Air Force 64, Utah Valley 53 • In Colorado Springs, the Wolverines attempted a rally in the fourth quarter, but the Falcons (2-6) held on to win. Junior Taylor Gordon scored a team-high 15 points for Utah Valley (1-8).

SLCC 79, Chemeketa College 34 • In Twin Falls, theBruins dominated the Storm for their third consecutive victory (8-1).

Colorado Mesa 77, Westminster 61 • The Griffins shot 36.2 from the field and fell to the visiting Mavericks (5-1, 2-0 Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference). Denise Gonzalez scored 21 points, including five 3-pointers, for the Griffins, (3-3, 1-1 RMAC), who built an initial 10-5 lead, before Colorado Mesa went on a 12-2 run to close out the quarter.

Women's Swimming & Diving

Boise State 174, Utah 126 • In Boise, Idaho, the Broncos won 11 of 16 events to defeat the Utes in a dual meet. Utah earned a pair of wins in two breaststroke races and in the 200 butterfly.
