Swansea, England • Bob Bradley celebrated his first win as Swansea manager when Fernando Llorente's stoppage-time double clinched a wild 5-4 victory over Crystal Palace in the English Premier League on Saturday.

Swansea led 3-1 with 15 minutes to go but faced a sixth successive winless game after going 4-3 behind by conceding three goals in nine minutes.

The comeback ended Bradley's wait for a Premier League win but Palace manager Alan Pardew was condemned to a sixth loss in a row.

"The character of the players shone through," said Bradley, the former U.S. coach who took charge in October.

"It has been a difficult season and a lot of things have not bounced the right way. But we still show up every day with a great mentality, and I couldn't be happier for that group."

Swansea climbed off the bottom of the 20-team standings and Palace is two points ahead in 16th.

Davis Cup: Croatia leads Argentina 2-1

tennis • Croatia needs one more point to win its second Davis Cup title after winning the doubles against Argentina in straight sets on Saturday in Zagreb. Marin Cilic and Ivan Dodig defeated Juan Martin del Potro and Leonardo Mayer 7-6 (2), 7-6 (4), 6-3 for a 2-1 lead over Argentina in the final.

Cilic can secure the decisive point for Croatia against del Potro in the first reverse singles on Sunday. If del Potro wins, Croatia's Ivo Karlovic and Argentina's Federico Delbonis will decide the final.

"We will push to the end," Dodig, the hero of the doubles victory, said. "Nothing will stop us now."

Cilic said he expects a victory against del Potro in a matchup of former U.S. Open champions, "although it won't be easy."

France's Worley wins GS in Vermont

Women's skiing • In Killington, Vermont, Tessa Worley of France was on top of a World Cup podium again.

She captured a giant slalom Saturday in Vermont — unfamiliar territory on the World Cup circuit — and was a winner for the first time since a knee injury three years ago.

Worley won in 1 minute, 59.26 seconds. She was 0.80 seconds ahead of Norway's Nina Loeseth, who led by 0.09 seconds after the first run. It was Worley's ninth giant slalom World Cup win but first since the injury in 2013.

Mikaela Shiffrin, runner-up in the season-opening giant slalom in Austria, had plenty of fans in her corner on the Superstar trail but could do no better than fifth.
