After a chaotic college football Saturday, the Utes took advantage of a win over Arizona State on Thursday night to move up to No. 11 in both the latest Coaches Poll and AP Top 25.

The top five of the poll shifted after Clemson, Michigan and Washington all lost, Alabama remaining at the top followed by Ohio State, Louisville, Michigan and Clemson in both polls.

Washington, still the highest rated Pac-12 team, fell three spots to No. 7 in both polls. USC — the team that beat Washington — was the biggest riser of the week, moving up to No. 19 in the Coaches Poll and No. 15 in the AP Top 25.

Colorado moved up to No. 12 in both polls and Washington State moved up three spots to No. 20 in both polls to round out the list of conference teams in the rankings.

Texas A&M and North Carolina tumbled as the biggest fallers, each dropping 11 spots to No. 22 and No. 24 in the Coaches Poll. Auburn slipped 10 spots in the AP Top 25 to No. 18 and Texas A&M plummeted 13 spots to No. 23.
