Best of the week: Lotulelei dominant in Panthers win over Cardinals, Raiders LT and former Aggie Donald Penn scores a touchdown
Former Utes DT Star Lotulelei exploded for his best game this season with three sacks, five tackles, an assist and a forced fumble in a win over the Cardinals. Former Utah State offensive lineman Donald Penn showed off his pass catching abilities, nabbing a short touchdown catch in the Raiders' win over his former team, the Buccaneers.
Jacksonville Jaguars at Tennessee Titans
• Titans CB Brice McCain (Utah) had one tackle and two assists in all 72 defensive snaps and one special teams snap.
• Titans CB LeShaun Sims (Southern Utah) had one tackle and a fumble recovery in one defensive snap and 18 special teams snaps.
New England Patriots at Buffalo Bills
• Patriots CB Eric Rowe (Utah) had three tackles.
San Diego Chargers at Denver Broncos
• Broncos RB Devontae Booker (Utah) had 19 carries for 54 yards, a touchdown and a fumble. He also caught five passes for 30 yards in 54 offensive snaps.
• Chargers DT Tenny Palepoi (Utah) had two tackle assists and a fumble recovery in 30 defensive snaps and seven special teams snaps.
Cincinnati Bengals vs. Washington (London)
• Bengals LB Nick Vigil (Utah State) had one tackle in 19 special teams snaps.
Oakland Raiders at Tampa Bay Buccaneers
• Raiders CB Sean Smith (Utah) played two defensive snaps.
• Raiders safety Keith McGill (Utah) played 22 special teams snaps.
• Raiders LT Donald Penn (Utah State) caught one pass for one yard and a touchdown and played all 94 offensive snaps and six special teams snaps.
Seattle Seahawks at New Orleans Saints
• Saints DE Paul Kruger (Utah) had one sack and a tackle in 40 defensive snaps and five special teams snaps.
• Seahawks LB Bobby Wagner (Utah State) had 11 tackles and four assists in all 76 defensive snaps and five special teams snaps.
• Seahawks DT Sealver Siliga (Utah) had one tackle assist in 22 defensive snaps and one special teams snap.
Green Bay Packers at Atlanta Falcons
• Packers LB Kyler Fackrell (Utah State) played 19 defensive snaps and 22 special teams snaps.
• Packers safety Marwin Evans (Utah State) played 14 special teams snaps.
Arizona Cardinals at Carolina Panthers
• Panthers DT Star Lotulelei (Utah) had three sacks, five tackles, an assist and a forced fumble in 47 defensive snaps and two special teams snaps.
• Panthers DT Paul Soliai (Utah) had one tackle assist in 19 defensive snaps.
• Panthers LB Jared Norris (Utah) played 18 special teams snaps.
• Cardinals RB Kerwynn Williams (Utah State) played 19 special teams snaps.
Kansas City Chiefs at Indianapolis Colts
• Chiefs QB Alex Smith (Utah) completed nine passes for 127 yards and one touchdown. He also rushed twice for nine yards in 29 offensive snaps.
• Chiefs safety Daniel Sorensen (BYU) had seven tackles and a forced fumble in 47 defensive snaps and 25 special teams snaps.
• Colts RB Robert Turbin (Utah State) had two carries for nine yards and three receptions for 25 yards in 29 offensive snaps and 12 special teams snaps.
Detroit Lions at Houston Texans
• Lions DE Ezekiel Ansah (BYU) had one tackle in 48 defensive snaps.
• Lions CB Nevin Lawson (Utah State) had one tackle and two assists in 66 defensive snaps and seven special teams snaps.
• Lions safety Miles Killebrew (Southern Utah) had a tackle assist in 10 defensive snaps and 13 special teams snaps.
• Texans center Tony Bergstrom (Utah) played four special teams snaps.
