The Utah State women's soccer team beat Nevada 1-0 on Friday in Logan in the Aggies' final home match of the season.

Senior forward Jessica Brooksby scored for the Aggies in the 34th minute off a rebound on a shot by defender Rachelle Warner. It was the ninth goal of the season for Brooksby, and Warner's second assist of the year.

Warner made her way up from the midfield before taking her shot. As the Nevada goalkeeper stopped the attempt, the ball rebounded to the feet of Brooksby, where she was able to complete the play and put the Aggies on the board.

The Aggies (10-7-0, 6-3-0 Mountain West) will visit UNLV on Sunday.

Utah State fired off a season-high 20 shots, including 11 on goal. Nevada ended the day with eight shots, five of which were on goal.

Southern Utah 3, Idaho State 0 • In Pocatello, Idaho, junior forward Ally Thimsen scored three goals and sophomore goalkeeper Destiny Collins made six saves for her first shutout of the season to give the T-Birds the win.

Women's volleyball

Adams State 3, Westminster 1 • Savannah Ipsen had a career-high 19 kills for the Griffins in the hard-fought Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference match, but Adams State prevailed 25-23, 25-23, 22-25, 26-24. Westminster (3-17, 1-10) battled through 19 ties and six lead changes but allowed 70 kills while only getting 50.

Men's soccer

UC-Colorado Springs 3, Westminster 0 • The visiting Mountain Lions scored their first goal in the 14th minute of the Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference match and handed the Griffins their fourth straight loss. UCCS 9-5-1, 8-3) outshot Westminster (3-11, 2-9) 10-5.

Men's tennis

In Las Vegas, Utah State's Kai Wehnelt beat Northern Arizona's Tim Handel 6-3, 7-6 in the quarterfinals of the Intercollegiate Tennis Association Mountain Region Tournament, becoming the first USU player ever to reach the event's semifinals. In doubles, USU's Jack Swindells and Jonas Maier fell in the round of 16 to New Mexico State's Luis Flores and Christofer Goncalves, 8-6.
