East Rutherfor, N.J. • New York Giants wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr. has returned to practice on limited basis and hopes to play against the Los Angeles Rams this weekend in London.

The 23-year-old Beckham missed Wednesday's workout because of a hip pointer sustained in Sunday's 27-23 win over the Baltimore Ravens at MetLife Stadium.

Beckham said he felt better Thursday than he did Wednesday, but he refused to say that he would play in Sunday's game at Twickenham Stadium.

Offensive coordinator Mike Sullivan was optimistic that Beckham would play.

Beckham had a career game against the Ravens, catching eight passes for 222 yards and two touchdowns. His 66-yard catch and run with 1:24 to play won the game.

Beckham leads the team with 35 catches for 581 yards and three touchdowns.
