Each Monday, we'll recap notable performances from local BYU, Utes, USU and SUU alumni in the NFL. Here's what stood out from week five:

Best of the week: Asiata versatile in Vikings win, Fackrell has coming out party against Giants

Former Utes running back Matt Asiata made the most of his 34 offensive snaps, turning 14 carries into 55 yards and a score along with catching three passes for 46 yards. Packers rookie and former Utah State linebacker Kyler Fackrell was disruptive against the Giants, producing a sack fumble, two tackles and an assist in 14 defensive snaps.

Arizona Cardinals at San Francisco 49ers

• 49ers LG Zane Beadles (Utah) played all 78 offensive snaps and four special teams snaps.

Tennessee Titans at Miami Dolphins

• Dolphins LS John Denney (BYU) played nine special teams snaps.

• Titans CB Brice McCain (Utah) had one tackle in 31 defensive snaps and 12 special teams snaps.

• Titans CB LeShaun Sims (Southern Utah) played 21 special teams snaps.

Washington at Baltimore Ravens

• Ravens safety Eric Weddle (Utah) had a tackle and four assists on all 66 defensive snaps and three special teams snaps.

• Ravens WR Steve Smith Sr. (Utah) had three catches for 29 yards on 13 offensive snaps.

• Ravens TE Dennis Pitta (BYU) had seven catches for 59 yards on 54 offensive snaps and four special teams snaps.

• Ravens CB Will Davis (Utah State) played eight special teams snaps.

Buffalo Bills at Los Angeles Rams

• Rams safety Maurice Alexander (Utah State) had one tackle on 54 defensive snaps and five special teams snaps.

Philadelphia Eagles at Detroit Lions

• Lions LB Kyle Van Noy (BYU) had three tackles in 40 defensive snaps and 10 special teams snaps.

• Lions safety Miles Killebrew (Southern Utah) played 21 defensive snaps and 20 special teams snaps.

• Lions CB Nevin Lawson (Utah State) had two tackles on 34 defensive snaps and three special teams snaps.

Houston Texans at Minnesota Vikings

• Vikings RB Matt Asiata (Utah) rushed for 55 yards and a touchdown on 14 carries and caught three passes for 46 yards in 34 offensive snaps and nine special teams snaps.

• Texans center Tony Bergstrom (Utah) played four special teams snaps.

San Diego Chargers at Oakland Raiders

• Raiders CB Sean Smith (Utah) had three tackles, two assists and an interception in 50 defensive snaps.

• Raiders safety Keith McGill (Utah) had one tackle in one defensive snap and 17 special teams snaps.

• Raiders LT Donald Penn (Utah State) played 72 offensive snaps and seven special teams snaps.

• Chargers DT Tenny Palepoi (Utah) played 46 defensive snaps and nine special teams snaps.

Chicago Bears at Indianapolis Colts

• Bears FB Paul Lasike (BYU) played one offensive snap and three special teams snaps.

• Bears LS Patrick Scales (Utah State) played nine special teams snaps.

Atlanta Falcons at Denver Broncos

• Falcons DE Derrick Shelby (Utah) had one tackle on 38 defensive snaps and nine special teams snaps.

• Broncos RB Devontae Booker (Utah) had 23 yards on six carries, caught four passes for 36 yards and recovered a fumble on 29 offensive snaps.

Cincinnati Bengals at Dallas Cowboys

• Bengals LB Nick Vigil (Utah State) played 15 special teams snaps.

New York Giants at Green Bay Packers

• Packers LB Kyler Fackrell (Utah State) had one sack, two tackles, an assist and a forced fumble on 14 defensive snaps and 21 special teams snaps.

• Packers safety Marwin Evans (Utah State) played 10 special teams snaps.
