The Salt Lake Bees will open their 2017 home season on April 11 against the Sacramento River Cats, it was announced Wednesday.

As always, the Bees will play 71 games at Smith's Ballpark, including 23 on Friday and Saturday. They will also be at home on Easter, Memorial Day, Pioneer Day and Labor Day.

Salt Lake, the Pacific Coast League affiliate of the Los Angeles Angels, will play 11 home games in April, 17 in May, 16 in June, 11 in July, 12 in August and four in September.

The longest home stand of the season includes 11 games from June 5-16.

The Bees' most common home opponents next season will be El Paso (nine), Las Vegas (eight), Reno (eight), Sacramento (eight) and Tacoma (eight).

In cross-conference play, Salt Lake will play four home games each against Iowa, Colorado Springs, Oklahoma City and Omaha.
