McKenna Miller had 10 kills to help the 10th-ranked BYU women's volleyball team sweep Idaho State, 25-14, 25-21, 25-14, and win the Idaho State Invitational on Saturday in Pocatello, Idaho.

Lyndie Haddock contributed 27 assists to go with five blocks for BYU (9-0).

Idaho State fell to 4-6.

In their first match Saturday at Reed Gym, Amy Boswell had 12 kills and four blocks to lead the Cougars to a 26-24, 26-24, 25-17 victory over Missouri.

In the victory over the Tigers (5-3), BYU's Mary Lake had a match-high 11 digs and Danelle Parady-Stetler added 10 digs and three aces.

Utah 3, Cal State Bakersfield 1 • In Portland, Ore., the Utes defeated the Roadrunners 25-20, 21-25, 25-11, 25-16 in their first game of the day in the North Marriott Harbour Challenge behind the play of Adora Anae (17 kills, 11 digs) and Bailey Choy (36 assists, 11 digs).

Utah 3, Portland 0 • In Portland, Ore., the Utes (7-2) defeated the Pilots 25-19, 25-21, 25-20. Tawnee Luafalemana led Utah with 12 kills and Carly Trueman added 10.

Utah Valley 3, Northern Illinois 2 • In Honolulu, Lexi Thompson recorded a career-high 24 kills and Sierra Starley dished out a career-high 57 assists to lead the Wolverines to a 25-23, 25-17, 23-25, 21-25, 15-11 victory over Northern Illinois in UVU's final match of the Hawai'i Outrigger Resorts Challenge. Utah Valley, which went 1-2 in the tournament, improved to 4-6 for the season. The Huskies dropped to 5-3.

Weber State 3, The Citadel 0 • In Fullerton, Calif., the Wildcats (6-0) swept the Bulldogs 27-25, 25-14, 25-13 in their final match of the Titan Classic. Weber State freshman Rylin Roberts had 11 kills and Bailey Irwin had 31 assists.

Nevada 3, Southern Utah 1 • In Reno, Nev., Macky Fifita had 10 kills and Alexis Averett added 39 assists for the Thunderbirds, who lost 25-18, 25-20, 21-25, 25-15 to the hosts in their early game Saturday.

Gonzaga 3, Southern Utah 2 • In Reno, Nev., the Thunderbirds (2-6) dropped the first two sets of their late game to the Bulldogs, 25-21 and 25-16, before winning the next two, 25-20 and 25-19. Gonzaga (5-2) won the final set, 15-13, to win the match. Ann Clappier had nine blocks for SUU.

Dixie State 3, Sonoma State 0 • In Rohnert Park, Calif., the Trailblazers (3-4) wrapped up play in the D2 West Region Volleyball Showcase with a 25-18, 25-17, 25-21 victory over the host Seawolves (2-4). Dixie State's Lindsay Garrett put away 12 kills.

Fort Hays State 3, Westminster 2 • In their first of two matches Saturday in the Fairfield Inn & Suites invitational, the Griffins got 14 kills and six blocks from Desiree Wickwar in a 5-18, 26-28, 13-25, 25-19, 7-17 loss.

Western New Mexico 3, Westminster 0 • In their second match Saturday, the Griffins were swept, 15-25, 24-26, 22-25. Amara Spere led the Griffins with 10 kills and three blocks.

Women's soccer

Sonoma State 3, Dixie State 1 • In St. George, Taylor Enzler scored twice and Cecilia Sifuentes added a goal for the Seawolves (2-1-1). Forward Darian McCloy headed home a goal for the host Trailblazers in the 56th minute.

Men's soccer

Northwest Nazarene 4, Westminster 1 • In Nampa, Idaho, Hunter Kone scored for the Griffins (1-2) in the loss to the Crusaders (2-1-1).

Men's tennis

BYU sweeps Utah Fall Tennis Classic • In Provo, BYU senior Keaton Cullimore defeated junior teammate John Pearce 6-0, 6-3 to win the singles draw, and BYU teammates Jeremy Bourgeois and Derek Vincent surprised the top-seeded team of Cullimore and Pearce 9-8 (7-3) to win the doubles title.

Cross country

Westminster at Colorado College Invitational • In Colorado Springs, Colo., the Westminster men (150 points) and women (137) both finished in sixth place at Monument Valley Park. Payton Schiff led the women's team, placing 24th with a time of 24:08 on the 6-kilometer course. Michael Montoya (49th) led the men's team, completing the 8k race in 28:01.
