Tim Tebow is expected to work out for representatives of 20 Major League Baseball teams next week in Los Angeles, ESPN reports.

Tebow, who gave up playing baseball full-time in 2005 in order to concentrate on college football at the University of Florida, will work out Aug. 30. An all-state player as a junior at Nease High in Florida in '05, he led the team to the final four of the state playoffs and hit .494.

Tebow, now 29, went on to win the Heisman and lead Florida to two national championships. A first-round draft pick by the Denver Broncos in 2010, he has not played in the NFL since 2015, when he was cut by the Philadelphia Eagles before the season began.

Seattle Seahawks quarterback Russell Wilson played two seasons in the Colorado Rockies' minor-league organization and had a bit of advice for the SEC Network commentator.

"Hope he can hit a curveball," Wilson told MMQB. "Baseball's pretty hard."
