Reno, Nev. • Anthony Banda allowed just four hits while striking out eight to power the Reno Aces over the Salt Lake Bees 8-4 on Sunday night.

Geovany Soto and Kaleb Cowart each hit a home run for the Bees, who made the final score more respectable with two runs in the eighth inning and one in the ninth.

Salt Lake starter Nate Smith (7-6) allowed nine hits and four runs in 52⁄3 innings.
