Sandy • Real Salt Lake plays host to Italian Serie A club Inter Milan Tuesday night at Rio Tinto Stadium. RSL and Inter Milan finalized the international friendly in early June, making the Italian franchise the first European club to ever face RSL at Rio Tinto Stadium in Sandy.

Inter Milan's history of success is rich, replete with 18 Serie A titles and three UEFA Champions League trophies.

Head coach Roberto Mancini recently announced the 23-man for Inter's jaunt around the United States for both the friendly against RSL and the International Champions Cup tournament, which features 10 of Europe's top clubs facing off around the country.

The Inter roster is headlined by Argentine forwards Mauro Icardi and Rodrigo Palacio as well as Stevan Jovetic of Montenegro and Brazilian defender Miranda.

In 2006, RSL hosted Real Madrid at Rice-Eccles Stadium. A year later in 2007, the club welcomed in Everton FC of the English Premier League and later Argentina's Boca Juniors.

RSL's most-recent international friendly came against Liga MX's Club Tijuana in August 2014. A short turnaround awaits RSL as it hosts the San Jose Earthquakes on Friday in league play.
