Bees 6, Storm Chasers 3, 12 inn.

The Salt Lake Bees scored three runs in the top of the 12th inning to defeat host Omaha 6-3 on Sunday afternoon.

Carlos Perez scored the go-ahead run when Omaha pitcher Miguel Almonte was called for a balk with the bases loaded, and Rafael Ortega added a two-run double.

Salt Lake was down 3-1 in the sixth inning, but tied the score on a sacrifice fly by Quintin Berry and a throwing error by Omaha right fielder Orland Calixte.

Jose Alvarez (1-0) pitched a scoreless 10th and 11th to earn the win.
