Salt Lake infielder Kaleb Cowart has been chosen for the 2016 Triple-A All Star Game. Cowart leads the Bees in doubles, home runs, and RBI's as a starting third baseman this season.

The 24-year-old first round pick and Cook High School prospect drafted by the Los Angeles Angels in the 2010 MLB Amateur Draft is currently the Angels' fifth overall ranked prospect per MLB.com.

Cowart made his MLB debut with the Angels last August.

The 29th annual Triple-A All-Star Game will take place July 13 at BB&T Ballpark in Charlotte, North Carolina.
