Weber State men's basketball will compete in its third straight preseason tournament — this time in Alaska.

The Wildcats will play three games in the CGI Great Alaska Shootout from Nov. 23 to 26 in Anchorage against UC Davis the first day, Drake or Iona on day two, and one of Alaska-Anchorage, Buffalo, Nevada or Oakland on the final day over Thanksgiving weekend, according to a press release.

Weber State last played in the tournament — the nation's oldest continously running in-season tournament — in 2010, finishing third.

"We're really excited to participate in the Great Alaska Shootout this November," said coach Randy Rahe. "This has always been one of the top preseason tournaments in the country and will be a great opportunity for us to play three games in three days against some high-quality teams."
