The BYU baseball team capped their regular season with a 10-5 victory against the Santa Clara Broncos on Saturday in a West Coast Conference game.

Shortstop Brennan Anderson led the Cougars with a three-run homer to left field in the second inning and a RBI double in the third. Anderson finished with four RBIs off two hits.

BYU senior Eric Urry and sophomore Colton Shaver each had three runs and a RBI.

The score was tied at 3 going into the the third inning. With two outs and Brennon Lund on third, Urry hit a single to drive Lund home and break the tie. Urry advanced to third on a single by Shaver. Keaton Kringlen and Anderson both hit RBI doubles to lift BYU to a 7-3 lead.

With two outs and bases loaded in the fourth, Shaver was hit by a pitch, scoring Bronson Larsen.

TC Florentine had three RBIs for Santa Clara.

The Cougars head into the West Coast Conference Tournament 37-15 overall and 18-9 in conference play. The tournament starts Thursday.
