After a short turnaround from Saturday night's 18-inning marathon game, the Salt Lake Bees dropped game number two against the Colorado Springs Sky Sox on Sunday afternoon, 5-4.

Zach Nuding (1-3) started the game for Salt Lake on short notice and after three strong innings could not record an out in the fourth. Nuding finished with three innings pitched, six hits, five earned runs and five walks.

Salt Lake's Sherman Johnson hit a single that — combined with a Colorado throwing error — brought home three runs in the first inning. Todd Cunningham added an RBI triple in the second inning for Salt Lake.

But the Bees could not hold their early lead.

Salt Lake lost Saturday night's game 2-1.
