Berea, Ohio • After considering another trade, the Cleveland Browns selected Oklahoma State defensive end Emmanuel Ogbah with the No. 32 overall pick in the NFL draft.

The first selection in the second round brought offers from other teams, but the Browns, who twice traded down in the first round, stayed put and grabbed Ogbah, an edge rusher who had 13 sacks last season and 24 in the past two years.

The 6-foot-4, 273-pound Ogbah should improve Cleveland's pass rush. The Browns recorded just 29 sacks last season.

Ogbah has been timed at 4.56 seconds in the 40-yard dash and fits the profile of Browns defensive coordinator Ray Horton, who says he likes "big guys who can run."

The Browns have three more picks in the third round to use Friday.
