Logan • Utah State's home football game against defending Mountain West Conference champion San Diego State has been moved to Friday, Oct. 28 so it can be aired nationally on the CBS Sports Network.

Kickoff is 6 p.m.

The Utah State-San Diego State game is one of 10 moved for TV purposes by the Mountain West.

The other games moved to Thursday or Friday include Wyoming-Eastern Michigan (Sept. 23), Boise State-New Mexico (Oct. 7), San Diego State-Fresno State (Oct. 14), BYU-Boise State (Oct. 20), San Jose State-San Diego State (Oct. 21), Air Force-Fresno State (Oct. 28), San Jose State-Boise State (Nov. 4), UNLV-Boise State (Nov. 18) and Boise State-Air Force (Nov. 25).

Boise State, which finished 9-4 last season and ended up in a four-way tie for second place in the Mountain Division standings, will make a league-high five appearances in the Thursday-Friday TV package.

Utah State opens its 2016 season on Sept. 1 against Weber State in renovated Maverik Stadium.
