Utah football has announced the Spring Game football rosters. At quarterback, http://bit.ly/1S9GEED";>junior Brandon Cox will lead the Red team, while freshman Tyler Huntley will bethe White team's signal-caller.

That's the chief split that many fans will be watching, after coach Kyle Whittingham said the Utes are likely to play both quarterbacks for the entire game. There are other position groups that will hold some interest, but the Utes have yet to announce who is sitting out the game (and there's likely to be a lot of holdouts among the "proven" Utes).

Here's some of the interesting players who are vying for fall roles on each team if they play (http://grfx.cstv.com/photos/schools/utah/sports/m-footbl/auto_pdf/2015-16/misc_non_event/RWroster16.pdf";>you can click here for a link to the full list). I've taken the liberty of omitting a few starters that have a high chance of sitting out.

RED TEAM: QB Brandon Cox, WR Kyle Fulks, S Andre Godfrey, DE Chris Hart, CB Brian Allen, WR Kenric Young, RB Marcel Manalo, LB Cody Barton, DT Pasoni Tasini, WR Tyrone Smith

WHITE TEAM: QB Tyler Huntley, S Jason Thompson, WR Tyler Cooperwood, LB Sunia Tauteoli, RB Joe Williams, LB Evan Eggiman, WR Caleb Repp, DE Pita Taumoepenu, WR Saiosi Wilson, TE Harrison Handley

Note that offensive linemen and specialists will be playing both ways for each team, likely dressed in black. The Red team will be wearing all-red throwback outfit, while the White team will wear all white.

The game begins at noon at Rice-Eccles Stadium, with four 10-minute quarters and an 8-minute halftime with a running clock in the second half. Receivers coach Guy Holliday is leading the Red team with assistants Aaron Roderick, Dennis Erickson, Sharrieff Shah and Lewis Powell. http://bit.ly/1Vm9JPI";>Tight ends coach Fred Whittingham Jr. is leading the White squad with Jim Harding, Morgan Scalley and Justin Ena.
