Logan • Utah State concludes spring practice Saturday at 2 p.m. with its annual Blue-White game at Maverik Stadium.

According to coach Matt Wells, the offense (Blue) will compete against the defense (White).

The two teams will play 10-minute quarters with a running clock. After a break, they will play two 15-minute quarters, also with a running clock.

"Performances by individuals in the spring game will go a long way in defining roles as we head into the summer," said Wells. "I want to see good performances in a game-like situation by a lot of individuals and certain groups, along with clean execution."

The offense will get six points for a touchdown, three for a field goal, two for a run of over 15 yards, two for a pass completion over 20 yards, one for a first down and one or two points for conversions.

The defense will earn six points for a touchdown, five points for a turnover, three points for a three-and-out, three points for a blocked field goal, two points for a sack, tackle-for-loss or stopped drive, and one or two points for a failed conversion.

There will be no kickoffs. All drives will start from the 25-yard line.

Following the spring game, all former Aggie lettermen in attendance will line up in the north end zone, where they will be recognized as a group. They will also meet and shake hands with every Utah State player. The players will then meet-and-greet Aggie fans on the field during an autograph session.
