Minneapolis • This was a big win for the Utah Jazz.

They all are at this point.

On Saturday night, Utah defeated the Minnesota Timberwolves 93-84 at the Target Center in a game they had to have in regards to the Western Conference playoff race.

Gordon Hayward delivered it to them with a wonderful fourth quarter performance, scoring 16 of his 18 points in the final 12 minutes. The Jazz improved to 36-37 on the season and went 3-2 on their most important road trip of the season.

Derrick Favors led the Jazz with 19 points. Rodney Hood and Trey Lyles scored 15 points each.
