Logan • Utah State has added a three-star linebacker to its recruiting class.
Kevin Meitzenheimer of Moreno Valley (Calif.) has signed a letter-of-intent with the Aggies after visiting the school last week. He was ranked as the No. 8 linebacker prospect in the western United States by Scout.com.
Named a second-team all-stater by CalHiSports.com, Meitzenheimer (6-1, 220) also received offers from Washington, Boise State, Colorado State and UNLV. He averaged 13 tackles per game during his senior season.
