Philadelphia • An attorney for Buffalo Bills running back LeSean McCoy says he's been told no decision will be made until next week on charges over a Philadelphia nightclub brawl that left two off-duty police officers injured.

Defense attorney Larry Krasner says authorities told him a decision won't be made until at least Wednesday.

The 27-year-old McCoy is one of four men under investigation in the Sunday fight over a bottle of champagne.

The Philadelphia Police Department says the argument began as a possible misunderstanding over whose bottle it was. Police say the off-duty officers were kicked and punched, leaving one with a broken nose and broken ribs and the other with a possible skull fracture.

McCoy played for the Bills this past season after six years with the Philadelphia Eagles.
