Logan • Eleven players, including five from in-state, signed national letters-of-intent with Utah State by late morning on Wednesday, according to the Aggies' Twitter account.

The Utah products who will be attending Utah State include Bingham High linebacker Simian Matagi (6-2, 205), Sky View High tight end Bryce Mortenson (6-6, 210), Logan High defensive end Troy Murray (6-5, 210), Herriman High offensive lineman Ty Shaw (6-5, 285) and Dixie running back Tre Miller (6-1, 215).

Matagi was an anchor of the defense at Bingham, which was one of the best in the state last season.

Mortenson is a highly-regarded prospect who will serve a two-year LDS Church mission before enrolling at Utah State.

Murray, another Cache Valley product, originally committed to Nevada before flipping to the Aggies.

Shaw originally committed to Southern Utah before a head coaching change in Cedar City.

Miller is one of the top running back prospects in Utah. He picked the Aggies over Wyoming. Like Mortenson, he will go on a mission before play at Utah State.

Joining the in-state recruits at Utah State will be safety Makiah Gilmer (6-1, 180) of Juanita (Wash.) High School, cornerback-receiver Rayshad Lewis (5-9, 165) of Bishop Moore (Fla.) High School., receiver Craig Rucker (5-8, 160) of Edgewater (Fla.) High School, safety-linebacker David Woodward (6-3, 195) of Olympia (Wash.) High School, linebacker-tight end Justus Te'i (6-2, 220) of Mission Hills (Calif.) High School and Morian Walker Jr. (6-1, 200) of Valley Christian (Calif.) High School.
