Following a postseason that saw the Pac-12 miss the College Football Playoff, recruiting services largely left the conference out of the offseason "winners" as well.

Rivals, 247 Sports and Scout rated the Pac-12 as containing only a pair of programs ranked in the top 10 classes after Signing Day, UCLA slotting in at No. 10 for Rivals and No. 7 for Scout and USC ranked at No. 8 for both 247 Sports and Rivals.

As for ESPN's top 300 prospects, Pac-12 schools nabbed only four of the top 50 players in Stanford quarterback K.J. Costello (19) and tight end Kaden Smith (39), UCLA linebacker Mique Juarez (30) and Arizona State wide receiver N'keal Harry (22).

Last season, USC had the fourth best player on the ESPN 300 list, the Pac-12 finishing with eight of the top 50 prospects. The Trojans topped the lists of both Rivals and Scout for the team's 2015 class and ranked second on 247's list behind Alabama.

However, the conference still nabbed quality additions, beginning with the Bruins. UCLA's biggest get came from Juarez, who picked the team over Ole Miss, in an overall dominant recruiting performance in California — adding eight players from their backyard in the ESPN 300.

USC came on strong under new coach Clay Helton, flipping talented safety Jamel Cook (No. 73 in the ESPN 300) away from Florida State and stealing running back Vavae Malepeai from conference rival Oregon — even going into Georgia to take offensive tackle E.J. Price (No. 90 in the ESPN 300) from several SEC suitors. The Trojans finished with 13 total prospects in the ESPN 300 who either signed or committed by Wednesday afternoon.

Reigning Rose Bowl champion Stanford shined bright in the Pac-12 North, adding Costello and Smith to a total of six ESPN 300 players. All three recruiting services ranked the Cardinal in the top 20 classes nationwide.

Oregon held onto potential Utah commit in defensive tackle Wayne Kirby, one of seven recruits added in the defensive front out of a class of 18 to aid in the Ducks' switch to a new alignment under Brady Hoke.

Cal also produced a strong class after an 8-5 season, headlined by 233rd overall ESPN 300 athlete Melquise Stovall and four overall four star players from Rivals.

Pac-12 teams added four quarterbacks in the ESPN 300 between Costello, dual-threat passer Matt Fink (USC), dual-threat passer Terry Wilson (Oregon) and pocket passer Dillon Sterling-Cole (ASU).

Colorado brought up the rear for the conference on all of the recruiting services, finishing the day with Beau Bisharat as the team's lone consensus four star signee.
