Provo • Lexi Eaton Rydalch and Kalani Purcell both logged double-doubles in the BYU women's basketball team's 75-61 win against Loyola Marymount, the Cougars' seventh consecutive win.

Rydalch scored 28 points and 11 rebounds for her second double-double of the year and Purcell had 18 points and 16 rebounds in her ninth double-double for BYU (15-, 7-1 West Coast Conference).

Makenzi Morrison Pulsipher scored two 3-pointers in the final three minutes — the last shot coming at 54 seconds remaining that sealed BYU's advantage at 75-61.

Northern Colorado 64, SUU 44 • Northern Colorado earned a 10-point lead in the first half and increased it to a 20-point lead in the second to win. The Thunderbirds extended a six-game losing skid and dropped to 2-14 overall and 0-6 in league play.

UVU 79, Missouri-Kansas City 71 • In Orem, four Woverines scored double-digit points and the women's team snapped a five-game losing streak and recorded their first conference win.

Rebecca MaWhinney had a game-high 20 points. Patrice Toston hit a 3-pointer for UVU (8-11, 1-3 Western Athletic Conference) to open the fourth quarter and tie the score at 57. Mahinney hit a 3 with two minutes remaining to take the Wolverines' lead to 71-65 and they held on to win.

Men's basketball

Northern Colorado 90, SUU 70 • Jordan Wilson scored 24 points and Jordan Davis 16 to help Northern Colorado in its first road win in eight tries this season. Wilson, a 5-foot-7 junior guard, extended his team-record streak of consecutive double-digit games to 19.

Race Parsons and Trey Kennedy scored 19 points each for Southern Utah (4-12, 2-4).

UVU 90, Missouri-Kansas City 79 • Konner Frey led four Wolverines in double-digit scoring in Utah Valley's win and the Wolverines improved to 7-12 overall and 2-2 in the Western Athletic Conference.
