Seattle • Andrew Andrews hit a go-ahead putback with 25 seconds left as Washington erased a 22-point second-half deficit and rallied for an improbable 87-85 victory over USC in a Pac-12 game on Sunday.

The Huskies (10-4, 2-0) trailed 66-44 with 14:18 left before coming back against the Trojans (12-3, 1-1), who had won seven straight but played the final 16 minutes without injured guard Julian Jacobs.

USC led 85-78 with 2:12 left but the Huskies answered with eight straight points, taking an 86-85 lead on Andrew's basket.

After a USC miss with 7 seconds left, Andrews was fouled on the rebound and made the second of two free throws to make it 87-85.

No. 8 Arizona 94, Arizona St. 82 • In Tempe, Ariz., Gabe York scored 22 points, Allonzo Trier added 20 and the Wildcats (13-1) outlasted the rival Sun Devils (10-4) in both teams' Pac-12 opener.

Oregon State 70, Oregon 57 • In Corvallis, Ore., Tres Tinkle scored 19 points to lead the Beavers (10-2) over the Ducks (11-3) in their Pac-12 Conference opener.

Washington State 85, No. 25 UCLA 78 • In Pullman, Wash., Josh Hawkinson had 20 points and 10 rebounds and the Cougars (9-5, 1-1) notched a rare win over the Bruins (9-6, 0-2).

Colorado 56, Stanford 55 • In Stanford, Calif., Josh Scott had 14 points and 14 rebounds and the Buffaloes (12-3, 1-1) beat the Cardinal (8-5, 1-1) to end a two-game losing streak.

George King added 12 points for the Buffaloes (12-3, 1-1 Pac-12), who extended their winning streak over Stanford to five games. Josh Fortune had 10.
