Logan • Utah State is losing another assistant football coach.

According to numerous media reports Friday night, Aggie defensive line coach Ikaika Malloe has accepted a similar job at the University of Washington.

A 1996 graduate of Washington, Malloe is finishing his second season on head coach Matt Wells' staff. He came to Utah State from Portland State, where he was the defensive tackles coach and special teams coordinator for two seasons. He has also coached at Yale, UTEP and Western Illinois.

Earlier this week, Missouri confirmed the hiring of Utah State offensive coordinator Josh Heupel.
