Orem • Jaden Jackson scored 23 points and Konner Frey added 22 including four free throws in the final seconds as Utah Valley beat Weber State 84-81 in double overtime Wednesday night.

Jackson sank a 3-pointer to give the Wolverines (3-6) the lead for good with 1:03 left and Frey sank all four of his free throws in the final 25 seconds to seal the victory.

Joel Bolomboy led the Wildcats (5-4) with 28 points and 20 rebounds.

In first overtime, Jackson sank a 3-pointer and a Frey hit a layup in the final minute to overcome a 7-point deficit and send the game into its second overtime.

Jackson and Marcel Davis erased a 59-51 Weber State advantage with three 3-pointers in the final 2:09 of regulation, giving the Wolverines a 60-59 edge with 24 seconds left.

The Wildcats' Jeremy Senglin sank a free throw in the final 13 seconds to send the game into overtime.

"Our kids fought like crazy and showed some great toughness," said WSU head coach Randy Rahe.

"There was a stretch at the end of the half and another stretch to start the second half where they got away from us a little bit. We were right there and had a chance against a really good team. I was proud of our effort and toughness." —
