Bronco Mendenhall is headed to Virginia as their new head coach, finishing his BYU career with 99 wins and a potential 100th if he sticks around for the Las Vegas Bowl. Not all of those 99 wins were created equal, however, with several standing out over his tenure in Provo. Here's a look at his top five wins as BYU's coach:

1. Oklahoma 2009

BYU was a vast underdog in 2009 against No. 3 Oklahoma, which boasted reigning Heisman Trophy winner Sam Bradford under center. The Sooners had been to the national championship the previous season but after Bradford was hurt in the first half, BYU seized control. Max Hall threw for 329 yards and two touchdowns, leading a 78-yard drive late in the game to put BYU ahead in the 14-13 win.

2. Utah 2009

The Oklahoma victory began BYU's 11-2 2009 season, but a win over No. 19 Utah in the Cougars' season finale put a stamp on it. The infamous Max Hall "Utah hate" quote came after this game, the quarterback tossing a 25-yard touchdown pass to take the game in overtime 26-23. Harvey Unga rumbled for 116 yards and a score to help the Cougars to a win and a No. 12 AP Poll ranking at the end of the season.

3. TCU 2006

The Cougars were 2-2 on the season heading into a road matchup with No. 17 TCU, looking like a team headed for another loss to a Top 25 team. However, three touchdown passes from John Beck ended TCU's 13-game win streak and snapped a 12 game losing streak for BYU against ranked teams.

4. Nebraska 2015

The Cornhuskers didn't have a fancy ranking in this game, but a road win against a historic program registers on this list. Taysom Hill went down with an injury, forcing Tanner Mangum into the lineup and into the BYU history books. As time expired, Mangum heaved a ball 42 yards downfield to Mitch Mathews for a thrilling 33-28 win.

5. Oregon State 2009

The 2009 was a good one for the Cougars, capped by a victory over No. 16 Oregon State in the Las Vegas Bowl. The Beavers were riding a five-bowl game winning streak, but Max Hall tossed three touchdowns to put BYU over the top.
