Logan • Utah State senior linebacker Kyler Fackrell has been invited to play in the East-West Shrine Game and Reese's Senior Bowl, it was announced Monday.

Teammate Hunter Sharp, a senior wide receiver, will also play in the Shrine Game.

Fackrell has started all 12 games for the Aggies this season. He has recovered a nation-leading five fumbles, which is also tied for a single-season record in the Mountain West Conference. The 6-foot-5, 250-pound native of Mesa, Ariz., has recorded 76 total tackles, which ranks second on the team.

Sharp is tied for second in the Mountain West in receptions per game (6.0). He ranks first in the conference and 27th nationally with eight touchdown receptions.

The 91st East-West Shrine Game will take place on Jan. 23 at Tropicana Field in St. Petersburg, Fla. The game will be televised on the NFL Network. The Senior Bowl will be played Jan. 30 at Ladd-Peebles Stadium in Mobile, Ala. It will also be televised on the NFL Network.
