Norman, Okla. • Oklahoma's first three games featured a fast tempo and lots of points from senior guard Buddy Hield.

The Sooners' fourth game had neither, but the result was the same. Ryan Spangler had 20 points and 14 rebounds to help the seventh-ranked Sooners beat Wisconsin 65-48 on Sunday.

Hield, a preseason All-American who averaged 25.3 points in his first three games, was held to 12 points on 5 of 16 shooting. Oklahoma coach Lon Kruger was pleased to see his team win a different style of game.

"It's a game we'll grow from," he said. "We know Buddy is going to bounce back, at least most of the nights. I know he feels good about other guys stepping up there when they do, too. That's the way he thinks about it."

No. 11 Arizona 68, Boise State 59 • In Anaheim, Calif., Allonzo Trier and Kadeem Allen scored 13 points each and Arizona beat Boise State in the third-place game of the DirecTV Wooden Legacy.

Ryan Anderson added 11 points and seven rebounds, and Gabe York and Mark Tollefsen added 10 points each for Arizona. The Wildcats (6-1) were upset by Providence 69-65 in the semifinals after escaping with a 75-73 overtime victory over Santa Clara in the three-day event.

Alabama 74, No. 17 Notre Dame 73 • In Lake Buena Vista, Calif., Retin Obasohan scored 19 points, including the winning layup with 8 seconds left, in Alabama's victory over Notre Dame in the fifth-place game at the AdvoCare Invitational.

Notre Dame had a chance to win with 2 seconds left, but Demetrius Jackson's layup was off the mark.

Iowa 84, No. 20 Wichita State 62 • In Lake Buena Vista, Fla., Jarrod Uthoff scored 22 points, Adam Woodbury had 15 and Iowa beat Wichita State in the seventh-place game at the AdvoCare Invitational.

Mike Gesell added 14 points for Iowa (4-2) Eric Hamilton led Wichita State (2-4) with 14 points.

No. 23 Xavier 90, Dayton 61 • In Lake Buena Vista, Fla., Edmond Sumner had 14 points to help Xavier beat Dayton in the AdvoCare Invitational title game.

Trevon Bluiett and Myles Davis had 12 points apiece, and J.P. Macura, Jalen Reynolds and Remy Abel each had 11 for Xavier (7-0).

No. 25 SMU 77, Brown 69 • In University Park, Texas,, Keith Frazier scored 23 points and made three 3-pointers to break out of his 3-point shooting slump and lead SMU (4-0).

Brown's Steven Spieth scored 14 points in his Dallas homecoming. He is the brother of golfer Jordan Spieth. —
