Beehive State teams reach national finals

The Utes are coming off a third-place finish at the Mountain Region Championships led by a fourth-place finish from Hannah McInturff.

Utah has three NCAA All-Americans in its history: Mergaert (2012), Cesla Boman (1987) and Jill Molen (1982).

BYU finished fourth at the regional meet to punch its ticket to Louisville.

This marks the sixth time Weber State's women's team will compete at the NCAA Championships and the third time in the last five years. WSU's best finish ever was in 2012 when the 'Cats finished 17th.

The BYU and Southern Utah men's teams also received at-large berths for the nationals.
