The Utah Grizzlies scored a 4-2 win over the Alaska Aces Wednesday night behind a strong showing from goalie Ryan Faragher and a pair of goals from rookie Matt Berry.
Faragher, now 4-0 on the season, stopped 28 of 30 shots while a pair of goals from Berry put the game out of reach. Alaska scored first for a 1-0 lead, but the Grizzlies scored three unanswered goals before securing the win.
The win was the first in a three game series at Alaska, the next game scheduled for Friday night at 9 p.m. MT.
