Wrapping up how Utah's players on active NFL rosters performed in Week Five.

Minnesota running back MATT ASIATA • The Vikings were on a bye before hosting Alex Smith, Sean Smith and the Chiefs next Sunday.

Jacksonville guard ZANE BEADLES • The Jaguars lost their third straight, falling 38-31 to the Bucs. "I definitely think there needs to be more of a sense of urgency," Beadles told The Associated Press. "It's up to everybody on this team to buy into that."

Oakland guard TONY BERGSTROM • Bergstrom was active in his fifth straight game this season, a 16-10 loss to the Broncos.

Miami guard SAM BRENNER • The Dolphins had a bye before taking on Jeremiah Poutasi's Titans in Nashville next week. Sun-Sentinel reporter Omar Kelly wrote that Brenner needs to be allowed to compete for a starting spot at guard, and Palm Beach Post writer Andrew Abramson wrote, "Perhaps Sam Brenner deserves more of a look at guard."

Cleveland outside linebacker PAUL KRUGER • Kruger did not record any stats while playing a season-low snap percentage — 28 of 70, according to The Plain Dealer — while fellow ex-Ute Nate Orchard had a breakout game in a 33-30 win against the Ravens. Kruger has moved to strongside linebacker in his seventh season and seen a dip in production from 11 sacks to 0.5 through five games.

Carolina defensive tackle STAR LOTULELEI • Lotulelei was on hand for Utah's game against Cal on Saturday night. The Panthers were on a bye and will visit the Seahawks next Sunday.

Miami cornerback BRICE MCCAIN • In the aforementioned Palm Beach Post article (see: Sam Brenner), Abramson wrote that McCain might be moved to the nickel role he was originally expected to play.

Oakland cornerback KEITH MCGILL • McGill practiced but did not record any stats after being inactive the previous week with a foot injury.

Miami linebacker KOA MISI • Misi and the Dolphins were on a bye. Pro Football Focus ranks Misi as the ninth-best linebacker in the NFL this season.

Cleveland outside linebacker NATE ORCHARD • Orchard played 61 percent of the Browns' snaps, finishing with five tackles, a batted-down pass and a pressure that forced Joe Flacco to throw it away on third-and-goal from the Browns' 5, according to the Akron Beacon Journal, which quoted Browns coach Mike Pettine as saying "Nate was certainly a guy we wanted to get out there some more. … He's getting better."

Tennessee right tackle JEREMIAH POUTASI • The Tennessean wrote before the Titans' 14-13 loss to the Bills that Poutasi "appears to be making good overall progress" despite the usual rookie mistakes.

New York Jets outside linebacker TREVOR REILLY • Reilly, like Lotulelei, used the bye to watch his alma mater take on Cal.

Philadelphia cornerback ERIC ROWE • Rowe made three stops in the Eagles' 39-17 victory over the Saints.

Miami defensive end DERRICK SHELBY • Shelby was quoted by the Sun-Sentinel as saying he's not sure what to expect from interim coach Dan Campbell, but "hopefully it's good things."

New England defensive tackle SEALVER SILIGA • Siliga recorded four tackles in the Patriots' 30-6 rout of the Cowboys. The Boston Globe's Ben Volin wrote that he and Alan Branch "have been solid in the middle of the defense."

Kansas City quarterback ALEX SMITH • Smith was 16-of-30 for a season-low 181 yards in an 18-17 loss to the visiting Bears — KC's fourth straight. Andy Reid told The Kansas City Star on Monday that Smith has "done some good things. Are there some things he needs to get better at? Absolutely. Yeah, absolutely. And again, he'll do that." Others are not as kind.

Kansas City cornerback SEAN SMITH • Smith totaled three tackles in the Chiefs' loss.

Baltimore wideout STEVE SMITH SR. • Smith sat out the Ravens lost after having been "week-to-week" with back microfractures. John Harbaugh told The Baltimore Sun he was "hopeful" that Smith can return to visit San Francisco next week.

And he may have won a wager.

Atlanta defensive tackle PAUL SOLIAI • Soliai finished with three tackles as the Falcons downed Washington in overtime.

Atlanta had Soliai mic'd up the previous week.

San Diego safety ERIC WEDDLE • Weddle had two tackles in the Chargers' Monday night loss to the Steelers. It was the first time he's had less than three tackles in a game since October 2011.
