Fargo. N.D. • It doesn't get any easier for Weber State.

After a 26-7 loss to Oregon State of the Pac 12 in their opener, the Wildcats visit North Dakota State on Saturday afternoon. The Bison have won four straight Football Championship Subdivision national titles.

"They are as good as it gets on our level of football," said Weber State coach Jay Hill. "They are big and strong with a veteran O-line."

Weber State played well in its opener. The Wildcats trailed, 13-7, and moved the football to midfield early in the fourth quarter. An interception stopped the drive for a possible go-ahead touchdown, however, and Oregon State survived.

"We've got to find a way to pull those kind of games out," Hill said, "if we want to take this program to the next level."

Quarterback Jadrian Clark completed 19 of 35 passes for 120 yards against the Beavers.

"He's a leader and he's tough," Hill said. "He twisted his ankle pretty good … but continued to battle through it." —
