Stanford, Calif. • The first time fifth-year senior Rollins Stallworth catches a pass this season, he'll double his career output. He'll be making his first career start when No. 21 Stanford opens the season at Northwestern on Saturday.

Stallworth gets the nod over returning redshirt junior receiver Michael Rector, who was suspended for a week by coach David Shaw for disciplinary reasons. Rector was reinstated on Aug. 25.

Senior Devon Cajuste, who set a single-season school record averaging 22.9 yards a reception as a junior, will split time with Francis Owuso at the other receiving spot.

All of which is just fine with senior quarterback Kevin Hogan, beginning his third full year as starter. Hogan said he's worked with Stallworth as much as any other receiver.
