Logan • The Utah State men's basketball team will make 18 appearances on national television, the Mountain West Conference announced Friday.

The televised games will be featured on ESPN, the CBS Sports Network and Root Sports.

The Aggies will appear on the ESPN family of networks eight times, including their first-ever game against Duke on Nov. 29. Utah State faces the Blue Devils at 10:30 a.m. on ESPNU.

Games at New Mexico (Jan. 9) and against Colorado State in Logan (Jan. 16) will be shown on ESPN3.

Other games scheduled for ESPN networks include home games against San Diego State (Jan. 2) and UNLV (Jan. 18) in addition to road games at Colorado State (Jan. 16), Boise State (Feb. 2) and Fresno State (March 5). Starting times and network specifics will be announced at a later date.

Utah State will make three appearances on CBSSN: at home against Boise State (Jan. 5) and New Mexico (Feb. 9) and at San Diego State (Jan. 23).

The Aggies will play seven games on Root Sports, including home games against UC Irvine (Dec. 12), Air Force (Jan. 12) and Nevada (Jan. 30). The network will carry road games at Wyoming (Feb. 6), Fresno State (Feb. 20), Nevada (Feb. 24) and Air Force (March 1).

Utah State, under first-year head coach Tim Duryea, opens the 2015-16 season with exhibition games against Panhandle State on Oct. 31 and Cal State Monterey Bay on Nov. 6. The season opener is Nov. 13 at Weber State. —
