BASEBALL • Dillon Robinson singled in the go-ahead run and Mason Marshall threw five scoreless innings in relief as BYU beat Pacific 6-4 in 11 innings on Saturday in Stockton, Calif.

Three straight hits to start the top of the 11th gave BYU (23-21, 12-9 West Coast Conference) the go-ahead run. Hayden Nielsen singled to center and Tanner Chauncey singled to right to put runners on the corners. Robinson singled to right field to score Nielsen for the 5-4 lead. The hit also extended Robinson's hitting streak to nine games. Parker Starr singled past a diving shortstop to score Chauncey and make it 6-4 for the Cougars.

No. 13 USC 8, Utah 5 • The Utes rallied late but came up short as they lost the second game of a Pac-12 series at Smith's Ballpark. USC took a 5-0 lead in the fourth inning and increased its lead to 8-1 after six. Utah scored four runs in the seventh inning to cut the lead to 8-5 and put runners on base in the ninth but the rally fell short.

Utah pitcher Dalton Carroll took the loss, allowing eight runs (seven earned) on eight hits with four walks and a strikeout in 52⁄3 innings.

Cody Scaggari went 2 for 5 with three RBIs for Utah (14-27, 6-14 Pac-12), while AJ Young was 2 for 3 with a walk.

College of Southern Idaho 5, SLCC 3 • In Taylorsville, Austin Ovard went 2 for 4 with an RBI and scored a run for Salt Lake Community College, but the Bruins lost their regular-season finale. SLCC pitcher Matt Hape took the loss, allowing three runs on three hits in four innings, with two strikeouts.

Bull ties BYU record for wins in a season

SOFTBALL • Sophomore pitcher McKenna Bull tied the school record for single-season victories as BYU run-ruled Santa Clara 8-0 for its fourth West Coast Conference sweep. Bull is 32-7 on the season, tying former pitcher Paige Affleck, who set the record in 2010.

The Cougars (37-10, 12-0 WCC) jumped out to a 6-0 lead in the first inning.

BYU's Gordy Bravo went 2 for 4 with an RBI, extending her hitting streak to nine games. Mercedes O'Connor and Broderick each had two hits apiece.

San Diego State 10, Utah State 2 • In Logan, Utah State's Noelle Johnson hit a home run, and Jolene Koons was 2 for 3, but the Aggies (16-35, 8-12) got outmuscled by the Aztecs.

Weber State 10, Montana 0 • In Ogden, Molly Horne went 2 for 3 with five RBIs, and pitcher MaCauley Flint earned her 11th win of the year as the Wildcats (35-17, 13-6 Big Sky) won their regular-season finale.

SLCC 10, College of Southern Idaho 2; SLCC 5, CSI 4 (9) • In Taylorsville, Riana Splinter ripped a three-run homer in the first game and drove in the winning run in the bottom of the ninth inning in the nightcap as the Bruins swept the doubleheader.

Bluth sets Utah State record in 200 meters

Track and Field • In Boise, Idaho, Utah State's Parker Bluth set a school record in winning the 200 meters, and also won the 100 meters at the Boise State Border Clash as the Aggies won 10 events. The native of Riverton won the 200 in 20.59 seconds. He won the 100 in 10.42 seconds, barely edging Nic Bowens (10.43). Utah Valley's Nicholas Taylor (10.47) was third.

Utah Valley's Scott Moake won the high jump with a mark of 6.14 meters.
