BYU's foray into the 2015 NCAA Women's Basketball Tournament didn't go as well as the Cougars would have wanted. BYU was blitzed 86-53 by Louisville in a first-round game in Tampa, Fla.

But coach Jeff Judkins' team received some better news on Tuesday when senior Morgan Bailey and junior Lexi Eaton were named to the 2015 Associated Press Women's Honorable Mention All-America Team.

It is the first All-America honor for both players.

Bailey was the WCC Player of the Year, while Eaton was the WCC Tournament Most Outstanding Player.

Bailey, the niece of former Utah Jazz star Thurl Bailey, led the Cougars in rebounds (10.5) and was the team's second-leading scorer, averaging 17.2 ppg. She finished her career in 20th place on BYU's all-time scoring list with 1,202 points and was sixth in rebounds with 762.

Eaton made the all-conference first team for the second straight year and led the WCC in scoring with a 21.4 average. She was the best 3-point shooter (40.6 percent) on the team and second in assists, 2.90 per game.

It was BYU's second WCC conference tournament championship in four years and its third NCAA visit in four years.

Judkins has guided BYU's women to nine 20-win seasons in his 14-year tenure. He collected his 300th career win on Feb. 5.
