Laramie, Wyo. • Larry Nance Jr. scored 21 points and Josh Adams added 17 to lead Wyoming to a 76-53 victory over Utah State on Wednesday night at the Arena Auditorium.

Chris Smith scored 18 points for the Aggies, who had a six-game winning streak snapped and suffered their worst loss of the year.

Wyoming took a 40-30 lead at halftime after Utah State converted only one of its final eight possessions. The Cowboys kept rolling in the second half, when they scored the first five points. The Aggies never got closer than 13.

Wyoming improved to 22-8 overall and 11-6 in the Mountain West Conference. Utah State slipped to 18-11 and 11-6. Both teams have one regular-season game remaining. The Cowboys visit New Mexico. The Aggies play host to Colorado State.
