The top 40 most memorable moments in the 40-year history of the Utah gymnastics program:

1. April 21, 1995 • Utah isn't supposed to win the 1995 title, with host Georgia, Alabama and UCLA all having strong teams, but the Utes prevail when other teams self-destruct. Utah scored a 196.50 win while Alabama and Michigan tied for second with a score of 196.425. Adding to the drama was that the Utes barely qualified for the Super Six, finishing third in their group.

2. April 10, 1981 • Utah wins its first national title just five years after forming the program, scoring a 144.65 to edge UCLA's 144.1. It is the first of six straight titles.

4. Jan. 10, 2003 • Top-ranked UCLA beats the Utes 197.225-196.75 to end the 24-year home winning streak at 170 meets. The Utes were without three injured gymnasts — Theresa Kulikowski, Crystal Gilmore and Dominque D'Oliveira.

9. March 26, 1994 • Angered by what he perceives as poor judging, Marsden pulls his team off the floor during its competition at BYU and loses 194.125-125.8. It was Utah's first of just two losses to the Cougars.
