Greeley, Colo. • A big second half lifted Northern Colorado to a 71-57 win over Weber State's men's basketball team on Saturday night at the Bank of Colorado Arena.

The loss dropped Weber State to 9-12 overall and 4-6 in Big Sky Conference play.

Weber State jumped out to a 10-0 lead but the Bears rallied with a 22-7 run and led by five with eight minutes left in the first half. The score was tied at 30 at halftime but the second half was a different story.

The Bears opened the half on a 27-9 run in the first 10 minutes and never looked back. They led by as many as 18 points in the second half.

Northern Arizona 81, SUU 60 • The Thunderbirds looked rusty at home against Northern Arizona. SUU (5-14), coming off a week break, suffered a blowout loss to the Lumberjacks (10-11).

SUU could not find the basket on the offensive end, where they were held to 39.2 percent shooting.

Westminster 67, Lewis-Clark State 62 • Westminster Griffins held off Lewis-Clark State thanks to 22 points from Quincy Bair and 19 points from Jordon Pryor.

Nick Jenson grabbed six rebounds and Pryor added five boards. The Griffens never trailed and led by as many as 11 points in the first half.

SLCC 69, North Idaho 55 • De'Sean Parsons scored 14 points and CJ Spjute added 13 points for the Bruins, who improved to 20-5 overall and 8-2 in the SWAC. Blake Wilkinson had a game-high 11 rebounds and added nine points.

Women's

BYU 58, Santa Clara 56 • Behind Lexi Eaton's 27 points, BYU's women's basketball scraped out a win at Santa Clara.

Eaton and Morgan Bailey both had double-doubles in the win. Eaton had 27 points and 13 rebounds, while Bailey scored 19 points and grabbed 12 rebounds.

Xojian Harry scored five points late in the game. She also grabbed five rebounds and added three assists.

San Diego State 70, Utah State 59 • In Logan, Utah State concluded the first half of the Mountain West season by losing to San Diego State.

Senior Jasmine Porter led the team in scoring with 13 points. Junior Julianne Anchling added a career-best 10 points.

Northern Arizona 74, Southern Utah 64, OT • In Flagstaff, Ariz., Southern Utah led by nine points at halftime before Northern Arizona forced overtime. The Lumberjacks outscored the Thunderbirds 14-5 in overtime to snag the rivalry win.

Desiree Jackson led the Thunderbirds with 16 points and Marquelle Funk added 14. Jackson totaled five assists, three steals and a block in the loss.

Westminster 89, Lewis-Clark State 40 • No. 4 Westminster shot a season-high 61.4 percent from the field as they cruised to a win over No. 18 Lewis-Clark State (Idaho).

Westminster (16-2, 6-1 Frontier) hit a season high for points and margin of victory by shooting a school-record 66.7 percent from beyond the arc, going 14-of-21 from distance.

They made nine of those threes on 12 first half attempts as they raced out to a 46-22 halftime advantage.

Weber State 59, Northern Colorado 52 • In Ogden, junior Jalen Carpenter led the Wildcats with 15 points and junior Regina Okoye also finished in double figures with 11 points.

SLCC 72, North Idaho, 49 • In Taylorsville, Salt Lake Community College shot 50 percent from the field and 65.4 percent from the free-throw line. SLCC improves to 21-4 on the season and 9-1 in conference.
