Utah rallies past Washington State in women's basketball

Utah’s Tilar Clark made two free throws with a half-second remaining in the game as the Utes rallied to beat Washington State 81-79 on Sunday in Pullman, Wash.

The Utes trailed for more than 35 minutes of the game — by as many as 13 points — before pulling off the victory and improving to 12-3 overall and 3-1 in Pac-12 play.

Daneesha Provo led Utah with 22 points, adding a career-best nine rebounds. Megan Huff scored 14 points, while Emily Potter and Erika Bean added 11 each.

Borislava Hristova scored 29 points for the Cougars (8-8, 1-3).
